Familiplan conditions

Terms and conditions of use

These terms govern your account, shared household, artificial intelligence features and Familiplan subscriptions.

Last updated: 21 August 2026Version 2026-08-21

A shared space

Each household has members, roles and permissions. Share only information you are authorised to process and check who can see it.

Nia is AI

It can interpret information and suggest actions, but it can also be wrong. Check dates, amounts, allergies and any important decision.

Transparent subscriptions

The purchase screen shows price, period and renewal. Apple or Google handles billing, cancellation and, where applicable, refunds.

You can leave

You can cancel a subscription and request account deletion. They are separate: deleting an account does not automatically cancel a store purchase.

1. Provider and purpose

Familiplan is provided by Jose Maria Cruz Iglesias, Spanish tax ID 70903610S, Calle Sol Oriente 11, 1.º C, 37002 Salamanca, Spain. Email: contacto@familiplan.app. Phone and WhatsApp: +34 668 551 613.

These terms govern access to the Familiplan website, apps and family-organisation services. The privacy policy separately explains personal-data processing.

2. Acceptance, version and electronic notices

When creating a household, accepting an invitation or using the service, you must be able to review and accept the current terms. We retain evidence of version, date, user and acceptance context.

You agree to receive electronic notices necessary for account, security, purchases and contractual changes. Marketing is optional and managed separately.

3. Age and capacity

You must be at least 18 and legally capable of contracting to open an account. Children may only appear as members managed by an authorised adult; they cannot independently create or administer an account.

If acting for a family, couple, caregiver or entity, you warrant that you are authorised to create the household, invite people and process the information you provide.

4. Account and security

We may request reasonable identity, age, ownership or purchase verification where needed to protect the account or comply with law.

  • Provide accurate information and keep it current.
  • Protect credentials, devices and recovery methods.
  • Tell contacto@familiplan.app if you suspect unauthorised access.
  • Do not sell, transfer or share an account to evade roles or service limits.

5. Households, roles and shared content

A household identifier separates each family's data. Permissions and visibility determine who can view or modify a resource. Administrators should review invitations, remove unnecessary access and use suitable roles for children and caregivers.

When adding information about another person, you confirm it is relevant to household organisation and that you have authority or another lawful basis. Do not add secrets, medical details or third-party documents merely for convenience.

Actions by an authorised member may affect the household. Familiplan shows the actor or scope where relevant but does not replace agreements within the family.

6. Nia and other artificial intelligence features

Familiplan may change models or providers without changing the essential purpose, provided equivalent privacy and security safeguards remain. Countries and provider categories are described in the privacy policy.

  • Nia is artificial intelligence, not a person. Outputs are probabilistic and may contain errors or fabricated information.
  • AI can turn text, voice, photos or documents into draft tasks, events, shopping items, expenses, recipes or meals and use authorised household context.
  • In review mode, you decide what is saved. If an administrator enables automatic confirmation, Nia is authorised to carry out complete actions within configured permissions and limits. It can be disabled in Settings.
  • Check amounts, dates, people, ingredients, allergies and important details before acting. Do not use outputs as medical, clinical nutrition, legal, financial or emergency advice.
  • We do not guarantee that an output is unique, accurate, fit for a purpose or eligible for exclusive intellectual-property protection.

7. Your content and the necessary licence

You retain any rights you hold in text, images, audio, documents and other content you submit. You grant Familiplan a non-exclusive, worldwide licence limited to the period and acts needed to host, technically adapt, transmit and process that content solely to provide, secure and improve service reliability.

You warrant that content is lawful, you have the necessary rights and permissions, and it does not violate third-party privacy, intellectual-property or other rights. The licence ends on deletion except for transient technical copies and legally required retention.

Familiplan software, marks, design and documentation belong to its owner or licensors. No right is granted beyond personal, non-transferable use under these terms.

8. Acceptable use

Good-faith security research carried out lawfully and responsibly disclosed to contacto@familiplan.app, without accessing other people's data, will not be treated as abuse. Do not conduct intrusive testing without prior authorisation.

  • Do not access households, accounts or data without authority, or evade permissions, quotas or security controls.
  • Do not attempt to obtain internal instructions or system secrets, disable or bypass AI safeguards, hide malicious instructions in messages or files, rotate accounts to evade blocks or cause automated or disproportionate consumption.
  • Do not introduce malware, automate abuse, attack the service, scrape data at scale or reverse engineer except where mandatory law permits.
  • Do not use Familiplan for harassment, unlawful monitoring, discrimination, impersonation, infringement or illegal activities.
  • Do not upload unnecessary special-category data or children's or third-party information without sufficient authority.
  • Do not use AI for high-impact decisions about a person, professional advice or emergencies.

9. Plans, limits and feature changes

Familiplan may offer free and paid plans with member, feature or AI usage limits. The plan page and purchase listing show current conditions. Reasonable use and safety limits may apply even to features described as unlimited to prevent abuse or service degradation.

We may improve, replace or retire features. If a change materially reduces a paid feature during the subscribed period, we will provide the consumer remedy required by law, potentially including correction, proportionate reduction, termination or refund.

10. Subscriptions, renewal, cancellation and refunds

  • Before purchase, you will see total price, currency, applicable tax, duration, trial, charge frequency and whether renewal is automatic.
  • Subscriptions renew for the stated period until cancelled in the relevant store account. Cancellation prevents future charges and normally keeps access until the paid period ends.
  • Apple or Google processes payment and applies its management and refund procedures. Familiplan does not store the card. Mandatory consumer rights prevail over store rules and these terms.
  • Deleting a Familiplan account does not automatically cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancelling a subscription does not delete the account or data; complete both actions if you want both outcomes.
  • Prices may change for future periods with notice and acceptance required by the store and law. Changes are never retroactive to a paid period.

11. Consumer rights

If you are a consumer in Spain or the European Union, all mandatory rights to pre-contractual information, digital-service conformity, modifications, withdrawal, termination and guarantees remain. For app-store purchases, start a request through the store channel; Familiplan will assist where appropriate.

No withdrawal right is treated as waived unless the legal requirements for beginning digital content or service are expressly met and required confirmation is provided. You may contact the public consumer authorities for your home jurisdiction.

12. Availability, copies and third-party services

We aim to keep Familiplan available and secure, but maintenance, network failures, third-party limits or incidents can occur. Continuous availability is not guaranteed. Keep critical or emergency information elsewhere.

The service relies on infrastructure, stores, identity, notification and AI providers. Their own terms may govern your direct relationship with them. An external link does not mean we control or endorse its content.

13. Suspension, termination and deletion

You may stop using Familiplan, cancel a store subscription and request account deletion through the in-app channel or contacto@familiplan.app. Before deleting a household, an administrator should tell other members and allow them to recover information to which they are entitled.

Safety systems may automatically reject a request, limit quotas or temporarily suspend the AI feature, the responsible account or, where a severe risk cannot be isolated, the whole household while it is investigated. These precautionary measures must be necessary, proportionate and reviewed without undue delay.

We may permanently close the responsible account where meaningful human review confirms unlawful use, an attack, a serious attempt to bypass safeguards or repeated abuse after warnings or blocks. Permanent closure of the household and loss of access for all members is reserved for cases where the household was created, organised or used in a coordinated way for abuse, or the risk cannot technically be separated from the household. Mere membership does not make an uninvolved member an offender or alone justify banning that person from another legitimate account.

Unless a legal duty, third-party safety or integrity of the investigation prevents it, affected people will be told the measure, scope, duration and essential reasons. They may state their case and request human review at contacto@familiplan.app. The reviewer will have genuine authority to lift or alter the measure.

Where safe and legally possible, non-responsible members may obtain their data or recover content to which they are entitled before closure. Subscriptions, paid amounts and potential refunds are handled under mandatory consumer law and store rules; closure is not an automatic financial penalty.

Termination ends the usage licence and data is erased or restricted under the privacy policy. Terms that naturally survive, including outstanding payments, intellectual property, liability and governing law, remain effective.

14. Liability

Familiplan is responsible for its obligations and for damage that cannot legally be excluded. Nothing limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, personal injury, non-conformity of a digital service or mandatory consumer rights.

To the extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for damage caused exclusively by false user information, decisions made without reviewing AI output, unauthorised account use, unavoidable external failures or breach of these terms.

For professional or business use where you are not a consumer, total liability for direct damages is limited to amounts paid in the 12 months before the event, except where limitation is unlawful.

15. Governing law and disputes

Spanish law governs these terms. Consumers may bring claims before courts determined by mandatory law, normally those of their home, and may use public consumer services. We do not impose exclusive jurisdiction in Salamanca on consumers.

Before a claim, you may contact contacto@familiplan.app to seek resolution. For professional users, where legally permitted, the courts of Salamanca, Spain have jurisdiction.

16. Changes and contact

We may update these terms for legal, security or service changes. Material changes receive reasonable advance notice and are not applied retroactively to your detriment. We will request fresh acceptance where needed.
